After so many years of not meeting up, we are delighted to be able to invite representatives of the heritage sector to ‘Connecting Conversations’, a day for us to consider how best to represent and understand the heritage of Argyll and Bute.
‘Connecting Conversations: Heritage – Tangible and Intangible’ will take place on Thurs 23rd February from 10:00 – 15:30 in the Rockfield Centre, Oban.
This is a free event, including lunch.
The full programme and booking form are online at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/477516303117
During the day we will build a picture of: ‘What is Heritage – Tangible and Intangible in Argyll and Bute? to begin the process of understanding the breadth of heritage across Argyll and Bute.
We will hear from two speakers about successful projects which have utilised heritage resources to connect and widen their reach; there will be lots of opportunity to network with other heritage workers, volunteers and organisations, with a limited number of tables for displays, and we have 5 x five-minute slots in which organisations/individuals can tell their story.
To apply to book one of these slots, please indicate your needs on the booking form.
Thanks to grant funding from Museum Galleries Scotland and The National Lottery Heritage Fund we are also able to offer small bursaries for those who need financial support to be able to attend.
