We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to join us as a Trustee<\/a> to help share the work and develop the forum further. Most of our activities are online so you can live anywhere in Argyll and Bute, or even further afield.

We are seeking new volunteer directors\n to help us shape the future of our organization and keep up with the \nday to day running of the Forum.<\/p>\n

The Argyll & Bute Museums & Heritage Forum (ABMHF) is a \nScottish charity (SCIO-SC050209) dedicated to supporting people, places,\n and organizations involved in heritage across the Argyll and Bute area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started out to help small, independent museums achieve \naccreditation, but over time, our focus has expanded to support the \nentire heritage sector. This includes volunteers, community groups, \nbusinesses, and everyone interested in our region\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From ancient times to the present day, we\u2019re here to celebrate the \npeople, places, islands, and everything that makes our heritage unique.<\/p>

<\/span>Your skills and enthusiasm would be invaluable as we continue to support and promote the rich heritage of Argyll & Bute.<\/p>

    We are currently seeking:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Volunteer Directors:<\/strong> To help guide the Forum\u2019s strategic direction.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe can access funding but we do not have the capacity to run events and activities.\n\n\n\nWe would like to host a hybrid conference\n\n\n\nWe would like to host monthly online Heritage cafes for members to come together informally, sometimes over a topic of interest, sometimes simply to share our news, concerns, and allow the conversation to develop with the wide range of expertise we have in the membership\n\n\n\nWe would like to host more training events as we have in the past – what sort of training depends on our membership, but it has been popular in the past.\n\n\n\n\n
