{"id":215,"date":"2024-07-16T16:35:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-16T16:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/argyllheritage.org.uk\/2024\/?p=215"},"modified":"2025-01-13T16:33:22","modified_gmt":"2025-01-13T16:33:22","slug":"lidar-in-argyll","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/argyllheritage.org.uk\/2024\/lidar-in-argyll\/","title":{"rendered":"Lidar in Argyll"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lidar coverage in Argyll &amp; Bute<br>At present LiDAR coverage for Argyll &amp; Bute is sparse and restricted to the below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Phase 1 collection including a strip from Oban through to Dalmally, Lochgilphead and<br>surrounds, part of East coast Isle of Bute and Campbeltown \u2013captured 2011\/2012 for<br>flood risk management 1 m DSM\/DTM and laz point cloud.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LiDAR data captured in 2016\/17 of sites and their immediate landscape: Eileach-an-<br>Naoimh, Eilean Mor, Inch Kenneth, Inchcolm, Iona and Kilmartin Glen as part of the<br>LiDAR for Historic Environment Scotland Projects (2016). 1 m DSM\/DTM and laz<br>point cloud<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data collected for the Slate Islands off the west coast of Scotland offering a complete<br>coverage of Luing and Torsa.
