ABMHF are seeking new Trustees<\/span><\/h1>

Happy\n New Year to you all, and we hope you had a lovely festive season, and \nare looking forward to 2026 in whatever part of our heritage sector you \nare in. <\/p>\n

We come to you with a plea for help. <\/p>\n

Are you passionate about the heritage of Argyll and Bute? 
Could you spare a few hours a month helping to build the capacity and activities of your Forum?<\/strong>
The Argyll & Bute Museums & Heritage Forum (ABMHF) is in urgent need of more Trustees<\/span>.
The\n Forum is a Scottish charity (SCIO-SC050209) dedicated to supporting \npeople, places, and organisations involved in heritage across the Argyll\n and Bute area. This email is going out to over 110 individuals and \norganisations. There are still more potential members across the \narea who have not yet joined. <\/p>\n

We are seeking new volunteer directors <\/strong>to\n help us shape the future of the Forum and improve our on going activities. Your skills, experience and \nenthusiasm would be invaluable as we continue to support and promote the\n rich heritage of Argyll & Bute and take advantage of funding on offer. <\/p>\n

We\n need responsible people with some experience and interest in any part \nof Argyll and Bute museums and heritage who can volunteer a few \nhours each month. We welcome offers from the professional or voluntary \nsector, all your current Trustees<\/span> hold volunteer positions in their heritage interest. <\/p>\n

Membership of ABMHF is open to all individuals and organisations interested in heritage and museums in the county. <\/strong>The\n Forum started out to help small, independent museums achieve \naccreditation, but over time, our focus has expanded to support the \nentire heritage sector. This includes volunteers, community groups, \nbusinesses, and everyone interested in our region\u2019s history. From \nancient times to the present day, we are here to celebrate the people, \nplaces, islands, and everything that makes our heritage unique.<\/p>\n
