The UK has joined the UNESCO Treaty for safeguarding vulnerable Intangible Cultural Heritage and the process for beginning to create the inventory of the wonderful myriad possible entries from across the United Kingdoms living heritage. This inventory is primarily to identify the most vulnerable living history submissions. It is not required that all practises are included, but it certainly will raise a lot of awareness about this far less known area of our heritage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The DCOS have started the process to help groups, individuals and organisations to assess and develop their offerings to this inventory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are a number of webinars happening which explains the necessary informed community Consent that has to be granted from any people whose living heritage is being suggested.
